Vertical Seed Conditioner
When preparing seeds for oil extraction, the seed needs to be heated and dried to the correct temperature and moisture. ChemSta Vertical Seed Conditioner is designed to heat and dry the seed slowly and efficiently, allowing it to be conditioned properly for additional processing.
ChemSta Vertical Seed Conditioner is the key equipment in soybean dehulling process. Soybean is processed in the conditioned drying tower after cleaned. That is to say, the soybean is heated, conditioned and softened, and the moisture content in soybean can be reduced in a short time, so that soybean can meet the appropriate temperature, moisture and physical characteristics required for dehulling and flaking.
ChemSta Vertical Seed Conditioner (drying tower) integrates conduction heat transfer and convection heat transfer. There are heating flat tubes in the conditioning section. The heat transfer area is large and the material fluidity is good. The flat tubes in the conditioning section are arranged at intervals, so that the material is heated evenly without heating dead angle. Mixed-flow heating mode is adopted in hot air drying section with corner box inlet and outlet device, and high efficiency aluminum fin heat exchanger is used in hot air heating. The outlet air is equipped with dust removal device. Hot air temperature can be adjusted at any time according to material temperature. Three-layer hot air section, make full use of thermal energy resources, save energy. The discharging roll is used for discharging grain, and the power is regulated by frequency converter. The discharging speed can be adjusted according to the material level.
The seed enters the ChemSta Vertical Seed Conditioner through the inlet hopper, which provides a surge volume as the seeds flow slowly down through a series of heating sections and air sections. Contact with the tubes provides even and consistent heat transfer to the seed as the patented air system provides moisture removal for additional processing.
The residence time is very important when determining the temperature and moisture removal of the seed. The end user controls the residence time. As the seed rate is increased or decreased, the quantity of heating sections can be changed to control the effective residence time.
Operating principle:
Raw material soybean is sent from storage silo to pretreatment system, metal impurities and big impurities are removed by magnetic separation and screening, and then cleaned by vibrating screen. The cleaned soybean enter into ChemSta Vertical Seed Conditioner(Drying Tower). Soybean through storage section into conditioning section and is evenly heated . At the same time, moisture in soybean is evaporated to the surface. Then enter the first hot air drying layer, in the hot air layer, the surface moisture of soybean is carried away by hot air, and the temperature of soybean is further increased. Then enter the second hot air layer, hot air will again take away the surface moisture, at the same time, soybean also achieves the effect of soothing. Then it enters the third hot air layer, the working principle is the same as above. Hot air enters the equipment from the third hot air layer and enters the second hot air layer through the material in the middle air duct; hot air passes through the material in the second hot air layer again and enters the side air duct and enters the first hot air layer from the side air duct; in the first hot air layer, hot air passes through the material into the middle air outlet and out of the equipment. The equipment makes full use of hot air resources, saves resources, improves thermal efficiency and reduces energy consumption. Soybean moisture further decreased and temperature further increased. During the whole process, the dewatering rate of soybean can reach 4%-5%, and the temperature of output soybean can be adjusted between 50-70ºC. The whole conditioning and drying time is about 2 hours. The hot air temperature can be adjusted according to the moisture content of the material. Generally, it is between 100 and 120 ºC, and the working pressure of the steam in the conditioning section is between 0.1 - 0.3 MPa.

Advantage of ChemSta Vertical Seed Conditioner:
1. The technology of multiple drying and sectional dewatering is adopted.
2. A set of air intake system is adopted. Hot air passes through three layers of hot air layer and out of equipment to make full use of hot air energy.
3. Soybean stays at high temperature for a short time and does not destroy the protein and other nutrients of soybean.
4. After conditioning and heating, it can be dried again, which has strong dewatering ability.
5.Alternate arrangement of rows and tubes makes the material flow along S-shaped curve in the tower, so that the material is heated evenly, and prevents the nutritional components of soybean from being affected by overheating.
6. Unit combination design is adopted to meet the processing requirements of different scale yield and moisture content of soybean, which is easy to install and transport.
