Vertical Disc Dryer is a new type of conductive drying equipment developed by our company for drying low moisture content materials. It has the advantages of continuous operation, closed operation, large evaporation intensity, reasonable humidity gradient distribution, low power consumption, small floor area, etc. At the same time, its configuration is simple and does not require the necessary cyclone dust collector for airflow drying. It does not use hot air as the heating medium, so it will not cause dust particles to be carried into the exhaust vapor due to bad separation effect of hot air and dust and thus resulting in product loss.
During operation, the heating medium is passed into the hollow drying discs, which is horizontally arranged in the dryer. The drying discs keep stationary, and the materials on the discs move under the push of the rake blades and are heated by the drying discs during the movement to complete drying. Due to the different parameters of each material, in actual design, it is necessary to determine the number of drying disc based on the capacity, properties, initial and final moisture content of the dried material.
Features:
(1) Continuous operation, high thermal efficiency, and low amount of dust particles carried by exhaust vapor, with a thermal efficiency of over 85%.
(2) The equipment has good airtightness. The dry exhaust vapor is almost completely pure vapor, which can be further utilized as the heat source, and the thermal efficiency is further improved.
(3) Low power consumption and low noise. The material layers are thin, the main shaft speed is low, and the power and noise required for the materials conveying system are low.
(4) The materials are evenly heated. During the drying process, the materials tumble forward along the Archimedean spiral movement track in the drying discs and fall layer by layer, so the materials have basically the same contact time with the heating disc surfaces, and heated evenly, and there is no back mixing in the whole process.
(5) Low materials loss and environmentally friendly. The materials flow in and out from top to bottom, with wet top and dry bottom. The flow rate of dry exhaust vapor is extremely low, making it difficult for the material dust to float to the top of the equipment, and it will not be carried away by the exhaust vapor, neither losing the materials nor polluting the environment.
(6) The entire equipment operates vertically and occupies a small area. The equipment is operated continuously and tightly, low labor intensity of workers.
(7) Has little impact on product quality. Can dry low moisture content materials, with high operational flexibility.
